Hospice Care
Helios Hospice Care helps brighten life’s final months
Understanding Helios Hospice Care
When is it time for hospice care?
If doctors predict that you or a loved one has six months or less to live, and you choose to focus on comfort care instead of a cure, you’re eligible for Helios Hospice Care.
The sooner you turn to Helios Hospice Care for help, the more we can do to brighten your quality of life. Many families admit they sought hospice care later than they should and wish they had engaged with Helios Hospice Care sooner.
If you don’t think you or a loved one is ready for hospice care, some other indicators include increased falls; more visits to the ER or hospital; and continued struggles with eating, sleeping or getting comfortable.
Where is hospice care provided?
Helios Hospice Care is provided wherever you call home – whether a private residence, assisted living community or nursing home.
We’ve found that patients would much rather be in the familiar surroundings of home and in the company of family and friends as they cope with a terminal illness. With the support of Helios Hospice Care, patients can stay comfortably and safely at home.
