First-Ever Dine Out Throw Down at Brewery Ommegang!
A little rain couldn't dampen the spirit of our first-ever Dine Out Throw Down at Brewery Ommegang! On September 20, 2026, community members came together for an afternoon of disc golf, friendly competition, laughter, and support for Helios Care.
Despite the rainy weather, participants made the most of the day, helping us kick off what we hope will become another wonderful tradition of bringing our community together for a great cause.
Congratulations to our disc golf champions, Andy Maxfield, who finished an impressive 8 under par, and Crysta Kovach, our women's division winner!
We extend a special thank you to Jim Seymour and Eamonn Hinchey for their dedication and hard work in coordinating the tournament, as well as Brewery Ommegang for graciously hosting our inaugural event.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this new event. Your generosity helps Helios Care continue providing compassionate hospice and palliative care services to patients and families throughout Otsego, Delaware, and Schoharie counties.
Our first Dine Out Throw Down may have brought a little rain, but it also brought plenty of smiles, community spirit, and memories worth celebrating. We look forward to building on this first year's success!
