Spiritual Care Counselor - Per-Diem
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Spiritual Care Counselor is responsible for the provision of spiritual care services to patients,
families and/or caregivers of Helios Care, as assigned by the Director of Family Support Services.
Per-Diem
Pay range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
▪ Bachelor’s degree in religion, theology, or pastoral counseling preferred. Related degree or
equivalent life pastoral experience required
▪ Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary group.
▪ Comfort in an interfaith setting.
▪ Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs and values.
▪ Knowledge of and commitment to hospice philosophy of care.
▪ Valid drivers’ license with driving record which meets standards outlined in Policy:
Qualifications of Hospice Personnel.
▪ Prior experience with Hospice or Home Health Care preferred.
▪ Ability to represent the organization professionally at all times.
▪ Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing workload hours.
